I order a "free trial" bottle of Total Cleanse from an ad on the Internet. (I knew I was to pay shipping, which was a nominal fee.) Even though there was nothing on the website about enrolling in an auto shipment plan, I figured I better call just to make sure (because it seemed to easy). After I placed the order, I called the telephone number on the web site and asked the person who answered to make sure I was not enrolled in any type of automatic shipment program. She assured me I was not.

Well, I received another bottle of Total Cleanse yesterday -- with a bill for $84.79! I called my credit card company and found it had been charged for this amount. When I try to call the toll free number that is printed on the top of the bill, it just disconnects after a second nine out of ten times. When I do get through, it tells me that normal business hours are 9 am to 6 pm EST and to place call back then, and the time I am calling is during these hours! (The recording at the toll free number doesn't even identify the company -- just "customer service department". And, the mailing label just identified the sender as "GIC"????)

I just read other reports that indicated that the same thing is happening to quite a few people. I wish I would have done a little research before getting myself into this mess! You know the old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". Well, I'm REALLY, REALLY mad -- and I will not stand for this foolishness. I'm going to stay on this all the way up to whoever I have to - in the company and/or the government!!

I am posting this as a followup and to validate the ripoff report made by Elizabeth concerning the Total Cleanse scam. I also fell for it and ordered the free trail of Total Cleanse for $5.95. After placing my order, I discovered it was a scam. I tried calling their 866-320-0038 number over and over for about a week and a half with no luck. The phone disconnects or you get an after hours message, even during their "regular business hours". They've already charged my debit card the $5.95 and now have full access to my checking account. I've contacted the bank and they said they can't block any charges made by the company, but that I can dispute the charges as they appear. Well, not only does their phone number not work, neither does the email address. And, it seems they keep changing their "business" address as well. Every scam report I've seen for this company, their name and address is always different. Now, since I can't cancel the trial, they will keep charging me the $80 something per month and I'll have to keep disputing it. I'm not even gonna put one of those pills in my mouth either. No telling what it is. The mailing label says "SFL Nutrition, LLC" in Boca Raton, FL. Judith Kansas City, Missouri
