This report was totally uncalled for on the part of the client. We were contracted by the client to create a website for an singer/artist that worked for him and we began to do just that. After creating the design and having it approved by the client we began the programming and started adding in the very limited content the client had provided to us. The whole time the client was dragging his feet and was not fulfilling their part of the contract. We required very specific details and comments from the client but for the most part he was un available. This continued for some time until the client suddenly dropped off the face of the planet for several months only to come back and state that he no longer liked the design we had created despite the fact that he had already approved it. By this time the project was nearly 70% complete and he was demanding that we start from scratch. At this point despite my better judgement i authorized a redesign of the site in an effort to keep the client happy. I bent over backwards for this client and he just kept demanding things. In between all of this he kept disappearing saying that he was busy with shows. He would promise to send content, provide comments on design elements, and get us videos but then would take weeks or months to get back to us with these things. This project went on for nearly 2 YEARS before we finally pulled the plug. The client breached our contract dozens of times throughout the course of the project and then had the nerve to demand a refund. Needless to say this was one of the worst clients that i have ever worked with. I've worked with dozens of clients who loved our work and had no problems with us but like ANY business there will always be those problem clients who demand the unreasonable and think they are the centre of the universe.
