Purchased The Rifleman - tv seasons on dvd from a company in California on the internet in May 2012. The internet site looked official and assured viewers to the site that all DVD's were official. After much deliberation I decided to purchace the DVD's. When I received the bill it was from a compay in China.
When I finally received the DVD's not all would not play on my DVD player, they were not labled and they were copied from the Hallmark chanel in TV. I pointed out to Mr. Chen that piracy was illegal in hopes that I could get my money back but that did not happen.
"Ross
They avoided my direct complaint about pirated DVD's and asked for the DVD numbers so that they could replace the bad ones.
My next email was more direct.
"Ross/Rose,
As mentioned before I did not pay for pirated DVD'S. Your website gave the impression that I was paying for the original box set of the tv series. Not copies off the Hallmark network. This is not acceptable and I want my money back. I will send the dvd's back to you.
I sent a emal to Mr. Chen to return the DVD's to the company and found out that the actual company location was in China and not in California as their website stated.
This was their response:
"Thanks again for your prompt reply. We just want to provide every customer with the complete dvd set they want, all our dvd sets worth its price,we hope you would understand. And they are not the original ones, but they all could play normally and smoothly on the DVD player as we said.
