I had TXU energy for 1 year November 07-November 08 - I paid all my bills each month - I changed energy providers because over 1 years time my bill increased each month started at $325.66 and ending with a monthly charge of 979.68. I contacted them each month to find out if I could get a better plan, they gave me all the pointers on saving energy and I followed all instructions and told me I was on the best plan they had for savings. I had a company come to my house to find out if my home was energy efficient, which it was and my home is brand new and my bills continued to increase.

After changing providers after 1 year, TXU back charged me for each month for the money they say they saved me on avg. billing. My bills were extrememly high and they didn't do me any favors. I've been turned over to collections for $1081.81 (avg billing savings by TXU) which I refuse to pay and I would like to know if anyone else has had issues like this with them. Can you imagine what my bills would have been - they are not doing me any favors - With economic times the way they are I think it is ridiculous that TXU feels like that is okay. Thank you.
