Since type-at-home.com makes it so difficultor maybe impossibleto get a refund through them, just call the company they currently bill you through. At the time of writing this it is esellerate. You can call them at 402-323-6600. They gave me a hassle-free refund.

I think they used to bill through Clickbank, but I'm assuming they got so many complaints and refund requests they had to switch companies to make it harder for us to track down our money.

For anyone curious about these internet money making programs, please read my unbiased account of what I went through. I'm assuming the vast majority of these programs are similar to type-at-home.com's bogus program.

My story:

I thought it might be fun to make a little extra money so I signed up for the type-at-home.com program for 49.99. The website made this program look like it would be very easy to make some good money if you were willing to put in some work. I pretty much expected that this program was just another bogus way to get your money, but with the 30 day money back guarantee I thought, what the hell, I'll give it a tryI've got nothing to lose. Wrong. It seems that they try very hard to keep your money even if you want it back.

First off, this program is very misleading, possibly just an outright lie. You do not simply make money by filling out forms and watch the cash pile up. What you do is post advertisements for businesses through paydotcom.com and if someone buys their program after going through you advertisement then you get a certain percentage of the purchase price. I've seen the percentage as high 75%, but it says that is the level 1 percentage; I suspect you get paid much less the more you sell, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, that is beside the point because you are going to have a hell of a time getting someone to buy one of these productsprobably because the best ones are internet money making programs; most people probably know better. To use this program without spending additional money, you post your unattractive ads on free classified ad sites. I probably posted at least 100 of these ads, just like good ol' Billy told me to, and have since had about only 20 people even look at these adsand you guessed it, nobody has bought any of the products I was advertising. So what does that mean for me? After about a week of posting tons of ads I have made a grand total of ZERO dollars. You might have better luck but I doubt it. And one thing is for sure, this program is in no way as simple and lucrative as the good people at type-at-home.com make it out to be.

Once you buy for this program, you do have the option of taking them up on their offers to make more money by spending some more money, which might be more lucrative probably just another scambut this isn't at all what the initial website encourages you to sign up for.

And now for the most criminal element of this program: When you realize that this program is trying to scam you out of your money and you try to get your 30 day guaranteed full refund, you will find it very hard to even find an email address to do soand even if you do, they probably won't respond. They didn't respond to any of my emails.

You can't count on this fraudulent company to make it easy for you to get the refund they promised, but if you go to the company they bill you through, esellerate, they should promptly issue you a refund. Their website address is www.eslr8.com. But just call them at 402-323-6600 and they should give you a no hassle refund as they did for me.

In conclusion, I would steer clear of type-at-home.com, Billy Briggs, and/or Cyber Junky, Inc. Their type-at-home.com program is for sure misleading, and they are downright criminal in the way they avoid your attempts at getting your guaranteed refund if you are unsatisfied. You might have better luck than I did, but I doubt it.

well to be honest, i've already expect this kind of things at first, but still it hurts me in someway so i'll be thinking positive about the site first, if they don't want to refund my $ nicely, then i'll think they're giving me a service to "test my new software", since i'm a software developer myself i have a bit "fun" contacting the support emails, clickbank, paypal, but no luck, so well i'll start to take a serious fun now, i'm thinking about 100 emails everyday with subject, "refund" with each 25 CC to same address, and with a "little" image as attachment displaying "refund my $, please..." hmm let say 512kb size? that would be fun i'll start making the software today (feb 27, 2007) and start a "few" test to their support email let see what their response after few days. if you interested, we can discuss a few about the software, i'll give it to you free, as long you gonna use it to get your revenge, since it's gonna be FUN! every "emails" count hahaha no i don't attach viruses, i don't hack, i'm a reputable freelance software developer in my country, so i'll just have fun
