In august I went to rent a truck that I had reserved and all went smoothly until we drove the druck and the all the lights in truck went on so we had to return it that same day. They reversed the contract and we got another truck and another contract.

The next day we filled the truck and went back to pick up our auto transport. None of their auto transports would work with the truck so we had to go to another uhaul location to get the truck lights fixed.

We returned and they tried again to get the auto transport to work. Ofcourse it did not. So we had to go back to the other dealership and had them hookup the auto transport. They did such a bad job that the wires were dragging on the road and the left turning light stopped working about an hour into the trip.

When we finally arrived the uhaul place that we dropped the trucks at were shocked that we drove from orlando to virgia with such a rotten wiring job. They informed us it would have taken them just the same amount of time if they had wired it the correct way.

Fast forward a month later and they money from the first contract that was reversed has not been returned and so I have to bank investigate it and uhaul tells the bank that they gave me cash. Well I call the local office and talk to the lady who rented my truck and she says she would take care of it but she doesn't and to this day I cannot get my money back. $462.22 has been stolen from me by uhaul.

It would be cheaper to hire a mover than to move with uhaul. They are theives. They give you dangerous trucks and charge you an arm and a leg to use them. Find some other way to move your stuff.

Hi I work at the location that did the wiring for the auto transport and the truck and as i remember it the guy doing the wiring was the best man for the job in the entire Marketing company. When that particular truck left the lot of my store to go back to the other store the AT and the Truck were in perfect working order. In fact as i remember it my guy spent almost 2 hours working on the truck trying to fix it and did not give up until the job was done. The customer never said thanks and never showed any appreciation all they did was complain about how they were running up there mileage going back and forth. The centers are only 1/4 apart from each other and they were told that mileage would be adjusted so they didn't have to pay for that mileage they were using. as for the money on the reversal i can't comment on that since that complaint was not from my center.
