United Health Care ripoff my health insurance money Atlanta Georgia
i was delinquent on my cobra coverage only because the envelopes i was mailing fell between the seats in a tow truck my husband was driving so i received a bill saying my insurance was due in the amount of 1390.00 so i called the company right away and asked a guy by the name of shawn if i could send it in full and still be covered and he said yes he would note what had happened
so i sent it in so i continued my medical care until my surgeon and doctors called me that i was not covered it was terminated on july 10 2004 and of course they cashed my check and i fought for my rights why would you cash my check if i was terminated after i had a mri emg xrays and doctors app, so anyways they sent me only 641.00 back to me and kept the rest they say for the premiuns i owed for 2 months now im just waiting to be parized from my neck down cause my doctor markarien wants up front 5000.00 to do surgery also my checking acc is overdrawn and mentally im almost insane over this mess that money is mine
they had no right to keep it, they say they will pay any medical bills from those 2 months which i had no claims or insurance anyway as they told me i was terminated they held my money for a month in a half. its a shame i spoke with corparate and they say though luck and i also worked for the for insurance reasons my husband lost his job after 281/2 yrs at rti and we get nothing no pension or retirement, i tried medicade and disablity (declined of course)
