United Plumbing Jim Cox Rip Off Livonia Michigan
This person supposedly runs a plumbing company which includes drain problems which is probably one of the most expensive items to have to deal with on a house, especially in Detroit where flooding is common. This person was employed by the property mgt company to carry out a big drain problem where the cost was several thousand dollars. He only did half a job, not connecting the pipes to the mains properly yet filling over the unconnected pipes with soil, happy to take the money and walk away. This left the sewage backing up and causing problems for the tenants who had to move out due to this which meant loss of income for the owner, after paying thousands in the first place and a big clean up job. He continually promised to come and fix the problem but it took him eight weeks to do so, not turning up five times which left the tenant and property managers pretty upset at the time wasting, not to mention a disgusting un-useable basement with the toilet sewage and water floating around in the basement. It was so unhygienic and made the house un-livable. His only reason for fixing the problem was to get more work and keep in favor with the property mgt company. But since then, he has not completed other jobs and they have had to be re-done by other contractors. He will make promises and then just not turn up and not keep his word and then become unavailable. Be careful of this person and this company.
