Unitrin Direct Insurance Merastar Insurance Co A little surface rust cut my insurance clam in half Scranton , Pennsylvania
If think you have fullcoverage on your car think again. When my 2002 Dodge Carvan was totaled, Mrs.Marisela Gentieu at Unitin direct, worked extra hardto reduce the value of my van. My $7000 van went to Cash Valueof $4925.00, which was low.
Then Mrs. Gentieu reduced the amount to $2286.52 for a little surface rust, which she called pre existing damage.Subtract a $1000 deductable for a grand total of $1871.79. Do not get insurance from this company, they will be more concerned with finding pre existing damage then the accident itself.
I am not excepting this offer and they have my van now, which they have impounded. The inspector Christopher Pilette, will not return my calls.
