See the title above and to add one thing: Universal charges 15% commission, not the 20% which is written in the above claim.

I WAS INTERESTED IN GETTING STARTED IN ACTING. I NOTICED AN AD IN THE PAPER SO I RESPONDED TO IT. I WAS TOLD TO BRING A PICTURE IN OF MYSELF OR THEY CAN TAKE ONE OF ME FOR A CHARGE OF 10 DOLLARS. It says on the application for the interview you will need a picture, so i am confused why some women came into their office without 10 dollars or a picture that they can keep. let the moths out of your pocket girl, that is their program. it,s obvious that is their policy, for them to have a pic of each person that walks in their door, so if you did not want them keeping your wedding pic you should have brought another pic for them or given them the 10 dollars so they can take one of you. anyway my experience has been great with universal . i took acting lessons with them and the teacher was fantastic not to mention that i got a photo shoot and i,m really happy with my pics. i got a speaking part on a movie with denzil washington 2 lines and made a thousand dollars for the day, i gave universal talent their fifteen per cent , i had a blast and got my minutes of fame, thanks to universal talent. so if anyone tries to badmouth them i would definitely stick up for them. i am very grateful to them. one other thing i just did through universal was a verizon commercial and i had a blast i have been to other agencies but universal t has given me the opportunity to make some decent cash and have a BLAST.

I am a striving actor who started off with Universal Talent and was sent on many auditions as well as extra work. Anyone who is serious in the industry should know that you need a starting place. Not only have I been on many jobs, but I was also able to network and gain more access and knowledge of the business. I have now made many more contacts as well as a circle of friends who also keep an eye out for me for the work I would like to do. The pay might not be the greatest in the world, but if you think you are going to make thousands right off the bat, you are sadly mistaken. I recommend Universal Talent to anyone whom is trying to break through into the industry. Its a great start, and the fees are very reasonable. It worked for me. I still get calls to go work on projects, and its fun, exciting, and makes me some extra cash.
