Hey Auburn Guy, take it easy on the poor people who have been ripped off by UOP. You are right, if you read many of these postings you will find that many of the graduates of UOP have poor language skills. Even the supporters of UOP that completed their degrees and are proud and thrilled generally have poor language skills. But you have to understand, it isn't entirely their fault. The school doesn't teach people anything at all. Sure one can devour the texts and work hard and learn something, but it is really easy to just kick back and take your A and get your degree. I attended this scam school for ten weeks and was appalled. What upset me most is that they sucker people in who don't have good language skills, promise them a degree and a better life, absorb ALL of the funds that will ever be available for grants and college loans, and then the poor graduate is left with a worthless degree and not much chance of getting that job they had hoped for. The tragedy is that once someone completes a UOP degree, they probably can't attend a regular college and actually learn something, because they can't afford to. Their financial resources have been used up by UOP, and now with no skills worth anything in the job market, they have to pay all of those loans back. A lot of people simply can't imagine that a school as bad as this can have accreditation and get government loans. Unfortunately, the least educated are the most vulnerable and this school does a great job of sucking them in and pushing them through the system with a lot of false promises and BS assurances. It is truly disgusting. So cut the guy a little slack. He has been robbed. He has been taken advantage of. And all while trying to do the right thing to get ahead and get a degree and pursue some success in life. Unfortunately a lot of the people who attend this school have nothing else to compare it to, and don't realize that the degree they have purchased isn't worth spit. Joni

Wow ! You really have been ripped off ! I see from your report that you have very poor spelling, syntax and grammatical skills. And you state that you have enough credits to earn yourself a college degree? No REAL university would allow you out of the freshman class ( if you were even ADMITTED ) with such poor skills. In your first sentence you revealed that you don't even know what degree you were pursuing ! Was it a BA or a BS ??? Those are 2 different degrees. There is no such thing as a BA of science in Human Services. If this is an example of the kind of graduates that come out of UoP, it's no wonder that no company in the US will hire them. And I thought maybe companies were just prejudiced against online learning.....silly me. There is a TON of paperwork required for any position in Human Services, and it has to be done correctly. Judging by your post here, you are not yet capable of competently doing the work required in such a position. Go back to a REAL school. One that will actually teach you what you need to know in Human Services. Don't allow yourself to be humiliated by your first interviewer.
