At the end of October, 2013, I attempted to order tickets to travel overseas for Christmas. The website progressed all the way through the order until the very last screen, the verification. The pop-up box said, "please wait." When the box disappeared, the site said that an error had occurred, and to go back to the previous screen. Once we got there, the tickets we had purchased were no longer available, but the credit card was charged the transaction.

Many phone calls, letters, and emails later, the company held my $3000 ranson for an entire week, where who know what they actually did with it while it was in their possession, and by the time I could charge the amount again, ticket prices had risen almost $400 extra dollars.

This website is a scam. How many other transactions don't go through, and what does the airline do with all this money in their possession? To review, the website took my money and essentially charged me a $400 fee to retrieve it, for something that was clearly their fault in the first place.
