Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Luckily I had my (disabled) daughter's cell phone when "Eric Dawson" (clearly someone calling from India) called from U.S. Financial Resources.  I asked him what the nature of the call was and he told me my daughter's government grant had been approved.  I explained that my daughter was and incompaciated minor, that I was her parent, guardian and in control of her finances and that he had to run any program through me.  He had my daughter's name, email address and home address so I was thinking this must have been a pop-up ad she opened.  Eric was in a real hurry to give me all kinds of codes (his employee number, recording number for our conversation, his direct phone number and extension) and gave me a web site of www.grants.gov when I asked for a web site to find out about this grant "application".  I told him that I wanted him to send the information about my daughter's grant to my email address before I would do anything else.  He then started telling me he was going to give me a user ID and password for the web site so I could see how much the grant was for.  I said that was fine, but I wanted to get home first and see what information he already had about his company and her grant.  He then tried to get me to give him a credit card number for a $3.87 fee for his company who acts as a 3rd party.  This, he said, had to be paid before he could release the ID/password to me.  I told him I would do no such thing, that I had already told him what I was going to do and I wasn't giving him any more information until I could research it.

I have yet to receive an email from Mr. Dawson.  My daughter had no idea what this program was, swears she has never gone into any online ads and that she would not give out what little info they already had to any cyber stranger.

When I got home, I searched for this company and saw the Ripoff Report.  End of story.  People beware.  These guys do everything they can to try to make this look for real and they work fast!
