USA Platinum ripoff not a REAL credit card - must buy their products that are extremely overpriced Uniontown Pennsylvania
Another "get our credit card with no credit check" scam!!!!!!
Basically it works like this, they offer you a credit card with no credit check!!! Beep - Red Flag Number 1, what reputable Credit card company hands out cards to just anyone, with no credit check? NONE.
Next they offer the card with a 0% interest rate, forever!!
Beep - Red Flag Number 2, what credit card company could stay in business without charging interest on the purchases you make? NONE.
Now they want a 150.00 dollar deposit, Beep - Flag 3, that is one heck of a "set up" fee.
Red Flag 4 - they mention somewhere in their jumbled terms and conditions that you must put 20% - 30% down on all purchases?!?!?
WHAT?!? - when have you ever used a Credit card at a restaraunt to pay for dinner and the waiter says, "excuse me sir\miss, you have a USA Platinum Card - You will have to pay for 30% of your bill with cash".
This "downpayment - or deposit usually represents the normal retail value of the product, the other 70% is the additional markup on the item you will pay in place of the interest rates that they do not charge. Basically, an item in these types of operations is 300% more expensive than normal retail pricing.
They never clearly describe that you can ONLY use the so called "credit card" to buy items from them and their affiliates - AND NO WHERE ELSE!
I received their offer through an e-mail - now here is the most beautiful part, they addressed me with my complete first and last name, even though it is not included in my actual email address. Almost too scary!
