USA Transportation Group - Bridget Weiss Not All Jobs Are Legit, Realized How Naive I may be.
About a month and a half ago I was approached by email by a woman named Bridget Weiss. She wrote me saying that she received my resume through "Indeed.com". (At this time I really was filling out applications on Indeed) so I thought it was legit. She explained to me that she wanted to offer me a position as a Transportation Assistant "work from home". (At this time I really was filling out applications on Indeed) so I thought it was legit. She explained to me that she wanted to offer me a position as a Transportation Assistant "work from home". Basically she explained that she works for a logistics company and they " CUT OUT THE MIDDLE MAN"so that shipping cost would be cheaper for their customers out of the country. She told me when I was going to receive packages beforehand, and email me a prepaid shipping labe. My job was to email her when I received the package, wait for her to send the lable, open up the package and check the merchandize. Making sure it wasn't damaged, then once I Ms.Weiss sent me the liable I'd go print it and take it to United States Postal Office. Also, had to make sure they scanned the package before I had left and then email her that I've sent the package. Bridget also said the first month would be a trail period, and that I would get paid 4 weeks from the date of my first package. (Which was supposed to be on 02/06/16 by Direct Deposit) "During trial: basic salary $2,300 plus commissions $30 for every sent package ($60 for packages heavier than 25lbs) *After trial: basic salary $3,500(monthly) plus commissions (paid weekly) $30 for every sent package ($60 for packages heavier than 25lbs) Payment is done monthly, 4 weeks after you sent your first package, this date is also end of your trial." Quoted from Bridge Weiss Unfortunately, I never got paid. I even emailed her and she didn't respond. Honestly she had me fooled, like it was a real job. Even had me fill and print out forms and had the nerve to tell me I passed my trail and looked forward to being teammates.
