I have usaa insurance and I am also a licensed claims adjuster. if you hired an attorney he should file a lawsuit against usaa on your behalf. it seems to me part of your story is missing; most attorneys would have filed suit long ago. this doesn't make sense. what did you pay him for?

I had the same thing happen to me, except When I went to court, as a witness, with USAA when they sued the other driver they paid everything and told me not to worry about a thing. I've never had a problem. best of luck to you

The experience of my occurrence with USAA as I was subjected to become a victim of crime trying to analze, to identify USAA's understanding, visualization, and present the process of an explanation of experience and materials providing logical proof of their corrupted system within the States they provide our families. I was a victim of a hit and run and still a member of USAA. My sons and their family are also insured with their company. Not only am I a victim of a hit and run (totaled my vehicle - other party no insurance) I am a victim with USAA with the insurance policy that I pay premiums till this date. I'm ready to feed information to the military families they are suppose to support from the beginning. I feel sorry for those that pay premiums even myself.

This is unusual for USAA, but you and your lawyer should bump this up to the Texas Department of Insurance in Austin. You should get a quick and satisfactory outcome from this.
