I ordered EMERGENCY processing. I was charged $190.00!! In addition, I was also charged $47.00 from www.vitalchek.com, the OFFICIAL site for ordering vital records. USBirthCertificate basically ordered my birth certificate FROM vitalcheck, and charged me for that. (In addition to the regular charge from Vitalchek. If the service had resulted in EMERGENCY processing as they claimed, I would not have been so upset, but it took LONGER than they said.
I could have DRIVEN to Louisiana, walked in to the office, left with the certificate, and return to Tennessee in 2 days, and it took 8 to get the certificate through this website. They MISREPRESENT their services AND they charges. As you can see above, it states $47.95 for Express & Emergency processing,.... and they can't give me a good reason for WHY I was billed $190. I have disputed the charge with my bank and will file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission as well. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY, TIME, AND HASSLE -- DO NOT USE WWW.USBIRTHCERTIFICATE.COM!!
