USENET.NL I was tricked into registering to their website, i signed up for a free 14 days trial, but my bank never authorized the transaction, since it did not go, i assumed the registration never was completed, later on I had to go thru hell so I can delete my account. When I was finally thinking it was over, I started getting emails stating that I was an ammount in EUR, which is not normal, since I live in the US. Also i just wanna make clear that I did not use any of their services and also i did not return to their website never again. NOW i am recieving a letter in the mail stating i owe money. I VE tried to rrach them over the phone but their hours are not available to people who live in the US. I ve also been emailing them but it takes forever to get back to me! This is unacceptable! Might need to seek legal help.
I was tricked into signing up for Usenet.nl. i registered for a free trial of 14 days but my bank did not authorize the transaction, which automatically means that the registration was not successfull. However i have been recieving emails that i owe a balance. I have cancelled my membership, which was extremely hard to do. I did not use any of the website services and i did not return to the website. I have emailed them, they do not get back to me on time, they also advirtise certain hours of customrer service care but those hours are for Europe and not the United States. I ve just gotten a letter via mail that i owe them a balance! I did not ever authorize any payments nether did I use any of their services. I was redirected to their website for something that was not there for me to use. This is a scam to me! They are not available for customers to contact them at the United States timing zone which makes it hard to cancell on time. They are also very slow via email!

They have no chance of legally ever recovering the money. In order to recover the money being that they're in Germany they would have to find a law firm in the state where you live (New York), and bring the lawsuit in your local county courthouse. The problem is their contract is meaningless legally because it doesn’t follow certain guidelines that are required for internet contracts in the state of New York being that their offer was accepted in the state of New York, New York has jurisdiction over the validly of their contract. Second USENET.nl is not registered in New York to do business. They would need to meet BOTH of those requirements first before they could file in this situation, not to mention that there could be a list of other reasons they wouldn't be able to sue.
