I found this company by doing an internet search for some episodes of a drama series I was watching. The company had this series on their site, and said that if I signed up for the "free" trial period (which actually costs one euro), I could access these episodes.
After I signed up, complete with financial info, I searched and they did not have those episodes in their database. Mistake #1. Not trying to cancel the "free" membership immediately. By the sound of the other complaints, they may not have been possible. The "contract" states that if you don't cancel within the two week trial, you will be billed a monthly fee of around $11. Mistake #2 Not canceling immediately to avoid what I presumed a monthly fee. An email popped up notifying me that 99 euros had been charged to my bank account. I contacted them immediately, and they refused to honor any sort of refund. They continually state that "you should've cancelled during the "free trial" ". I contacted Pay Pal, who SEEMED responsive to the issue. I think it behooves them to refuse to allow companies who get their legal documents done in Italy, make calls from Amsterdam,  and falsely advertise on unsuspecting consumers looking to SAVE money through inexpensive services, to use their services...Paypal users beware...stay away from usenet.nl

Dear customer,

First of all we are sorry to hear that you are having troubles with our service.

To clarify any misunderstandings we would like to explain how our sign up process works. When signing up on our website you enter the free trial period which last for 14 days. As mentioned several times during this process as well as in the TOS (which have to be accepted by the customer) you have to cancel your membership during the trial period if you do not want it to be converted into a paid contract. Furthermore we send an email a couple of days before the trial period ends to remind our customers about this.

However, since we highly value Customer Satisfaction and are constantly trying to make our service as easy and transparent as possible, we would like to ask you to send an email explaining your problem to the following address: [email protected]. We will then try to find a satisfactory solution for you.

All the best,
Your Usenet.nl Team
