Vale Landscape, Inc John W. Schmitt, Principal Rent Equipment from a distant Rental Store-pay for 1 day - disappear Alexandria Virginia
Mr. Schmitt comes in the store with a broken cut-saw to repair. He needs to rent one of our saws to complete a job. He pays rental for one (1) day and says "I'll see you tomorrow". Three days later the telephone calls begin to Mr. Schmitt - Pay for the time our Rental Saw is in your hands. Response is "I'll be in to see you today with payment" - or -" I'll come in (pick a day) to settle".
It is 44 days later, and we're still waiting. Appears we were set up. Drive 20+ miles to replace my broken saw with a rental. Cheerfully pay the $50.00 one day rental. Go back home and resume my landscaping career with my replacemnt saw. The annoying phone calls will end soon. Rental Companies beware.

I have been in business for myself for thirteen years now and have just been informed about this sole blemish on my record and feel I need to set the record straight.
I brought a three-day old saw that I paid $1300 for to Aldie rentals for repair; the estimate was approximately $450 and I agreed to the repairs and rented one of their saws to complete a landscape project.
I had no idea the repairs would take over three weeks and was a bit distraught that I was accureing several weeks of rental fees while the repairs were taking place.
My contact at Aldie Rentals, not the person that filed this report, informed me that we would settle the bill once my saw was fixed, which is exactly what happened.
I thought I had a professional relationship with Aldie Rentals and had rented many pieces of heavy machinary for which I never had a problem with before.
In closing, this business is no longer in operation and I have never had any negative feedback in all the years that I have been in business.
