Village Green, a YES! COmmuinty in Rossville, GA, is violating the law, because they think they are above the law or that every state is bound by the laws of the state of Colorado. If you are going to operate businesses in states other than your home state, you need to know the laws of that state and operate accordingly.

Village Green management is trying to have vehicles towed from private lots in the community because the vehicles do not meet their standards, have a flat tire, are parked in a different spot, etc. However, those living in the community with tags from another state are not being harrassed or threatened with towing. Georgia law clearly states that if you reside in the state of Georgia for more than 30 days you must tag and title your vehicle in the state. This has not been done by some residents, including the community manager.

Corporate officers will not return e mails, service techs bully and harrass residents, telling them they don't have any grounds, and cars have been removed from the community.

If you live in a YES! Community, you need to be aware of what they are doing, or you will come out one day and have nothing left on your site. They hire managers that steal, managers that think they are above the law and managers that assault teenagers! WHat a wonderful place to live!!!

YES! Communities abides by the laws of each state we operate communities within; Village Green is no exeption and does follow all Georgia state laws. YES! Communities has Community Living Guidelines that must be read and agreed upon by each resident before residing within one of our communities. Within the guidelines we explain in detail correct/required vehicle etiquette and the repercussions for violating the guidelines. In regards to Georgia’s state law on vehicle tags and titles, that is a matter for the local law enforcement to monitor, not the community management. We do encourage residents to reach out to their community management and our customer service department through [email protected] with any concerns about the community or the community staff.
