Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I had planned to have an exhibit at the Philadelphia Convention. My father who lives 40 miles away was in a serious accident and in intensive care. I phoned to ask if I could somehow either have my money refunded or use my payment toward the next year. I phoned 12 times and either had to leave a message with a young kid who was high or on a voicemail. Finally the owner called me back, yelling at me and threatening me. When I tried to explain that my father was dying on life support there was no response. I was told, "I have another call on the line I will get back to you." My father did end up passing away 3 weeks later. A few days later I showed up at the place of business which is a run down apartment complex. 2 cronies kept beating around the bush telling me I had no right to show up on private property and why didn't I call. Hold on...Didn't I call?Isn't this is business? After about 25 minutes the owner came out of a back room. He was incredibly unprofessional, raising his voice, threatening me, calling me the 'N' word when he thought I wasn't listening. I am 1/4 African American, white, and Cherokee. When I threatened him back he drug me to a hallway then twisted the skin on my forearm and stated, "Good luck b_tch! File a report because you aren't standing on my property and calling the cops who, by the way, won't show up! You have wasted too much of my time that I can't get back!" The entire time he would not look me in the eye and his head was darting all over the room. This is usually the sign of a dishonest person. I walked out upset and a girl 2 blocks south who passed me asked if I was OK. I briefly told her what happened and she said, "That guy is the biggest scumbag landlord on earth. His tenants are always high or drunk and obnoxious, his tenants are all alcoholic college students." After I spoke with other artists who have dealt with him the consensus is the same. He is a rotten and very nasty individual who apparently has a million dollar empire at other people's expense. I have not reported this on here right away because I fear he will send someone after me. Please do not support this place! Most tattoo artists are genuinely decent down to earth people. I have never met someone so nasty and hateful in my entire life.
