WARRANTY USA ripoff ,consumer fraud ripoff, ripoff fraud business, DIRTBAGS SEATTLE Washington
In Aug of 2001, I recieved a postcard stating that my vehicle has a recall on it and to call the number provided. I did and found out that it was for a an extended Warranty. I listen and since I do a lot of traveling I thought that it was a good deal.
The company said I would pay about $1500.00 and I could use my credit card to make the payments. I would however be reimbuse the full amount if I did not use the warranty. Once again I did not check them out, (my stupid fault) and thought it was a good deal.
In March of 2002, I noticed that the company had not charged me after reviewing my credit statements. I called them and they stated they were in the process of filing Chapter 11 and I would recieve something in the mail concerning this matter. I called month after month and recieved the same information.
On Jun 13, 2002 I called again to tell them I was getting close to the end of my warranty. They told me to get an official odometer reading and send it in. To this day I have not heard a word.
How can I get my money back? Is there any way? If you know of any please let me know.
