Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I brought my brand new BMW to this car wash and they had a trainee drive the vehicle into the car wash. This trainee drove the vehicle ONTO the rail and then the car bounced off the OUTSIDE of the rail. They have protective rail covers on the INSIDE but not the outside. In so doing they did major cosmetic damage to the front rim.

I asked for the manager...Jared Hoffman who told me it does no good to report a claim as they never pay. He said it is impossible to prove damage without before pictures of the car. I pointed out it had 400 miles on it. He said alot could happen in 400 miles. He said he would not even allow me to make a claim as it would be a waste of his time and paper.

I dialed the police to make the claim and he hung up the phone twice. He then told me to leave. I waited until the police arrived and it all ended in the private property this is a civil issue answer. They did however agree if I wanted to file a harassment charge against the manager I could. I did. I did not get a ticket for the same.

I filed the complaint through the corporate office in St Louis and their answer after a week was to cancel my membership at the wash, and tell me if I ever showed up again they would press trespassing charges. I would warn anyone who cares about their vehicles and would like honest recourse if damage occurs, that they NOT do business with this particular chain of car washes. They are liars and scumbags and now criminals for assaulting a customer.

I will gladly amend this if the company wants to do the right thing...replace my wheel. I dont care about spending more $$ at your wash, I will take my business elsewhere, but your so stupid to assume cancelling my membership will hinder my ability to use your wash. I could purchase a new membership under an assumed name with cash and another address (like a family memeber) and get my washes for the years to come.

Rest assured if I do, I am going to stick it to the poor kids who dry the car and give NO tips until it pays back the wheel. So, $1000 divided by $2 tips...500 washes from now I will tip again. Also, in order to get my free washes, I will put in $.03 cents worth of gas instead of filling up like I used to you scumbags. Actually I like this optinon. Screw the high school kids over piss poor management.

I used to work at this company. This is absolute BS. No way could you rim be ruined by the track. The inside and outside is covered in rubber. This guy is the worst type of person for trying to stick it to the line empoyees. We make 5$ an hour  and work in pretty crappy weather and it sucks to get stiffed. I honestly hated that job and don't really like waterway either but this guy is plain dishonest. They also have cameras that could detect the damage to your rim so you are definently lying in some way. I hope no one is buying this crap. Actually, this is literally the worst type of person, end of story, waterway won't buy you a new wheel, get over it, the only thing worse than a liar is a crybaby.

To whomever filed the report,

Im very concerned for your lack of understanding with regards to social responsibility as well as your general attitude towards lower class employees. Having been a long time customer at the water way your reffering to, im very familiar with the operations involved in there car wash. The scenario you described regarding the damaging of your vehicle seems highly unlikely. The machinery they have is designed very well to prevent any type of damage to the vehicles, especially the scratches that youv reported. Although you stated that they do not have protective covers on the outside of the railings, that is simply not true. Having just gotten my car washed yesterday, i know for a fact that both sides of the railings are fully covered. This fact may have been the reason why management so quickly dismissed your case as a ridiculous. It seems you may have an agenda to obtain some form of money from this company due to a damage that you have caused yourself. I think its despicable that because you cannot recieve money from a hardworking company, you have hatched a scheme to take it out on young kids trying to earn some extra cash. This idea is a sleasy and sad attempt to harass a company that i believed could not have harmed you. Even in the unlikely instance that your story is correct, you stated that a trainee damaged your vehicle. The poor employee would never intentionally harm your vehicle, and it would be ridiculous to pursue monetary compensation for an innocent mistake. I believe you should pay for the damages youv cause to your own vehicle instead of trying to draw attention to your dying case on this website. Also id recomend not following through with your plan, as you previously stated, the corporate management is threatening you with trespassing and i promise those charges would cost much more then a scratched rim.

P.S. Scams are an awful way to make money :(

Whatever loser. If I washed my car once a month like you do, I would give a large tip. This is a car wash mill that charges $10 per wash/dry. Tipping 200-300% is moronic. They have such turnover that if I did that, the guy I tipped would be gone a week later. So, why dont you test my warning, take your car to this wonderful wash, and tip your guy or gal $25 for his special treatment. Your car will get NOTHING special. And by the way...you tip after the service...this damage was done before...as the car was driven into the wash! SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE.

That Make A whole Lot Of Sense

That makes a whole lot of sense. Screw the poor kid who's details your vehicle because management are jerks. Take 'em to small claims court. If you continue to take your vehicle back, they'll just figure out a way to damage it without your knowledge. I've been taking my vehicles to the same place for years. I've had up to 5 vehicles at a time, with year long contracts on all of them. I use the same 2 detailers, who know me and my vehicles. I tip very well. Sometimes I bring them lunch. I only take my vehicles in when they are working. Some of the others aren't worth a ****. These guys are just trying to raise their families. It amazes me at how f**king cheap people are. They drive in with a $50,000 vehicle and tip them a dollar or two. I refer my two guys to other "good customers". They usually tip $20 or $30. Chump change.
