I purchased a parka and lining from We Love Parka about a month ago. I was able to choose the colour of the fur on the trim of the hood of the lining. I paid €849 for this parka and its lining, so I expected a certain amount of quality for the price paid. The parka arrived and to say I was devastated is an understatement. I knew that I had been ripped off.
The stitching on both the items was atrocious. The button holes on the sleeves had almost been sewed shut. There was loose stiching at almost every seam on the parka and the lining and the quality of the materials used for the lining was cheap and nasty. There were seams where it looks as though someone unskilled just went over it with the sewing machine several times. There was even a setion on the parka where the sewing maching had left a trail of sewing holes all the way across the material and the stitchin had been removed.
I expect better quality for an item bought directly from China for £50, let alone an item purchased from Germany for €849.
Sebastian Brüning refuses to give me a refund. I sent him several emails and pictures of the coat. He said he would "fix" the parka and lining if I sent it back, but he would not take the item back and issue me with a refund. He says it is not in his policy as I have customised the item. I hardly think that changing the colour of the fur trim on the lining of the hood makes it incredibly customised. How do you go about fixing poor quality, below standard items??
I feel that consumers should be made aware of the poor quality parkas that this website is selling. I will go to every complaint website if I have to so that people are warned.
I now possess a parka I wouldn't wear in public for which i am now €849 poorer. Shame on you WeLoveParka and Sebastian Brüning.
