Wesley Michael Smith Mike Smith ProBuilt Construction LLC Fraud and Theft - Took deposit for materials and disappeared. Canton Georgia
$7,000+ deposit given to W. Michael (Mike) Smith aka ProBuilt Construction LLC (Canton, GA) to cover an alleged deposit on replacement windows and other repairs at our home. Mike took the money, cashed the check and then, like magic, disappeared with no possibile explanation other than he was inteding on stealing the deposit all along. Bottom line, do not use Mike Smit or Pro-Built Construction LLC. This is outright theft and a criminal warrant will be forthcoming as no materials were delivered and the work was never commenced. Civil litigation will be underway shortly. I will be being filed with the State of Georgia Department of Law's Customer Protection Unit and any other governmental authority I can think of - I want to make sure that he does not do this to any other victim(s). I know, never give a contractor a deposit up front - no good deed goes unpunished.
