West Teleservices, West unfair write-up and unfair treatment ripoff Hampton Virginia
I just want to say that I fully believe all the negative reports about this company, West, because of my own experiences with the company.
Many of the companies they represent are fraudulent and they do not care. I used to work there when they had all these 1-900- psychic tele-ads running and the West representatives (non-"psychics") were basically given free range in answering these calls, leading pathetic lives even further astray.
So, basically they were enmeshed in the whole psychic fraud. These were not clairavoyants (sp?) taking the calls, but quickly trained students and homemakers and moonlighters. Around that time was my que to leave I guess.
Actually, though I was fired. I had been written up for attending my great grandmother's funeral out of town although I had been approved for the time prior to taking it. To add insult to injury, a month later, my grandmother (her daughter) died (complications of diabetes and heart surgery and liver damage). While it was touch and go with her (also out of town), I was working at West (like an idiot, I guess)not knowing what was going on exactly with my granmother.
Anyway, when she passed, my family contacted me at work, but because we were in "que" apparently they couldn't bring me a simple note letting me know she had passed. So I didn't find out until after my shift was over. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure I got the message at all. I may have very well found out from my husband upon returning home.
That is lower than low if you ask me. How inconsiderate, especially since you can so easily slip a note to someone on the phone, but they put money and business first. I guess they were worried it would upset me and I may have left before my shift was over, hours later. That is disgusting to me. Anyway, with this I forgive them because God will avenge. The Lord have mercy on these who lack humanity.
