Complaint Review: westend towing nashville tn - nashville Tennessee

After several calls, i by passed talking to the crew up fronf and talked to accounting and explained that not only did the wrecker service but the property owners had not sent a register letter of the car being towed,property owener was suppose to send letter giving 15 day notice which was timmons properties, and west end was to send letter within 6 days ,which they didnt do,thats the reason it sat for 58 days in storage, i must say in the end,i delth with Bonnie Wehby which was pleasant and willing to work with me, she rembursed me for 52 days at $30 aday plus tax. I fell they have done their best to be fair and would use their services in the future, and to the arbutrator you can remove all my previous entries!

Arbutrator said i wanted something for nothing, checked tenn. State law on towing,property owner has to send register mail 15 days before tow,didnt happen, then towing company is to send registered letter within 6 days of tow, my vehicle was towed sept 22, , I called every wrecker service to find vehicle, metro had no report of tow, I picked up vehicle on Nov 19th was charged 58 days storage, by state law if not notified , 6 days is all wrecker service can collect, just talked to manager at west end towing, said they mailed notice nov 26th, that was 6 days after I picked up vehicle', got registered letter on dec 6th  , not only that manager of apartment complex didnt call in tow, a tenant did so now mr. arbutrator maybe you should chech the law and the facts before you accuse someone wanting something for nothing, west end owes me $1560 back of the $ 2095.00 they charged me, or I got them on tape admitting they didnt notify me until 6days after I had already picked up vehicle.

If the arbirtrator would read he would understand that i was forced from my contract on a lease when owner sold it and new owner wanted in immediately,so i agreed to move so they could get in,it cost me more tjan the 2 months rent that you said i saved ,had to pay mover, deposits on elect,cable,water plus 3 days to pack, and a week to un pack and a damage deposit on the new living quarters,told linda ivey ,manager where i moved from that i would park csr in visitor parking area until i could move it, west nashville towed it, said they called metro to let them know they werent stealing it, i didnt live close to whete i moved from, west end saus that apt manager called to have it towed,

she said she didnt, when  reported it to metro ,they have no record that wrst end called or filed a report,west end refuses to tell linfa ivey or myself who called for the tow,they say metro should have called me to advise me it was towed,point is, no one takes responsibility for calling me or for the towing,  The point about airport parking is that my vehicle would have been under a cover for 32 dollars a day, but it was in a gravel parking lot with large mudholes everywhere. And that fatheaded, green teeth  slob that works in the office thah charged me $2200 dollars dont have any tact about him ,and dont need to be working with the public!

I had 2 months left on existing lease,did not want to move,had plans on stsying n apt,owner sold condo and new owner wanted me out in 2 weeks,told her i would move as soon as i could find somewhere to move but advised her that i signed a 1 year lease and had 2 months if i needed it,found a house and moved to help new ownsr move in as soon as possible,advised tilmon ptoperties tjat i put car in visitor parking lot and would move it soon as possible,they had vehicle towed within a week,i still have originsl lease in hand good till dec 1st 2014, i moved to help new owner,at least they could have let my car set there or notifird me it was gonna be towed,i had explained situation eith property manager linda ivey', said would be ok , so no dumba-- i didnt want something for nothing,tilmon properties did,they wanted me out in 2 weeks when i had a contract for 2 more monthd. I tried to do them a favor and got screwed out of $2200

You can't be serious.  You get out of your lease 2 months early, no longer live in the complex but somehow think that the owner is somehow required to let you keep your car there until you get time to move it.  This may be a shock for you but your "contract" ended as soon as you moved out.

I'm curious as to when you actually did move out and how long your car was there before it was finally towed?  As if it was towed one or two days later and you noticed it immediatly perhaps I could understand your side.  But it is now just shy of 2 that is TWO months since it was towed.  There is a difference between getting the time to have it moved and wanting to take advantage of someone to give you free storage.

Oh and by the way, when I did live in apartment complexes one parking rule that was always present is that in order to be parked in the complex your vehicle must be in operating condition.  By your own admission your car was not in working condition.

Also, what does the price of airport parking have to do with the price they are charging for storage?  But since you brought up airport parking, realize that most airports limit parking to 30 days at a time...you would have been towed there as well.

If you fail to pay the tow bill they will sell your car at auction to reclaim the amount due.  If they sell the car for more than you owe, you will get the difference back.  Of course with a blown head gasket..don't expect that to happen.
