I worked for Westgate Resorts in Gatlinburg TN for over a year, they are like any other "Timeshare" company, they have to follow each states laws . By the Tennessee Real Estate Commission the buyer has 10 days from the date they toured the property to "cancel" the sale in "writing", send it certified receipt to the corporate office located in the Sales Contract you have ( Orlando FL Corp. Ofc.). You will be given a 100 % refund for the money paid at the signing of the contract. You have to act before the end of the 10 day waiting period, or Westgate will follow through with the contract and you will be bound to the sales contract you signed. Time share is not for everyone, always read the contract before you sign it. P.S Yes the River Terrace is really old and in need of updating, but remember the old saying... " If it sounds to good, it probably is not true", I guess you got a call about a really good deal on a vacation in Gatlinburg, saving you over 50-80%. ;0 Remember " Buyer Beware"
