Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Sales person misrepresented the entire transaction. Did not make clear that there were 2 transactions, one with Wireless Retail & one with AT&T.

Sam's Club in Texas: Bought 4 phones, 2 for family moving to California, with the ATT plan: free calls to each other, free long distance, nights & weekends free. I made clear that their phones would need to have their numbers changed to the area code that they were moving to. Sales person gave me her cell # to call if we had problems or questions & when we needed to have that change done.

After 7 attempts & VMs left I contacted AT&T who changed the numbers to the area code my daughter lived in. They also had to "fix" several screw ups in the billing as we were charged for every call... $2800-- + bill for the first month.

Then, 3 months later I get a bill from WIRELESS RETAIL that I owe $400.00 for the "interruption in service". I call the collections dept as instructed to resolve this obvious mistake on their part. I get "Gina" who proceeds to inform me of 2 transactions that occurred, one with them & one with AT&T, and because we changed the numbers that constituted a breach. The verbiage within this agreement is not clear at all. It only states "an interruption of service"...no explanation of what that means. I say again that there was no interruption of service. After it was clear that this representative of Wireless Retail was not interested in customer service I then ask for a supervisor. There is no one she will get for me to talk to. She offers no way to resolve this, other than I might want to write a letter, but only leaves me with the Collections dept address in Indiana. I ask for the owner/ceo of the company, she doesn't know it, or won't give it to me.

Then, exactly one month later I receive a dun from Vericheck collection agency with the threat of turning it over to the credit rating companies to affect my good credit. I call Wireless Retail collections again & as I attempt to bring "Chris" up to speed (mind you -- I am moderate & appropriate in my speech & conversation)she interrupts me to say "I am not going to listen to you vent"... I then ask whether she is intersted in customer satisfaction, business ethics and whether this company wanted a report to the BBB & the FCC regarding false representation of services & contracts. She then states my account is closed she is calling Vericheck to close that account & I will receive no more contacts regarding this. Now why wasn't that taken care of from the beginning???

Poor unsuspecting folks are being harrassed into paying some exorbitant fees.... I just don't want this happening to anyone else.

Stay away from Wireless Retail, INC. They are in Sam's clubs. Don't do business with them unless you don't like your money & want to give it away to a company that employees unethical sales tactics.
