This client contracted to have there car transported. Brenda called into our company upset and told us that her husband was abusing her and that she needed to leave him. She told us that we needed to do this when he is a work, because he is in the Coast Guard and carries a gun. We told her that we would do what ever it takes to help her get out of the situation she is in. We had a driver schedueled to pick up there car in less then 24 hours and durring the time frame that Brenda wanted it picked up. Brenda called 30 minutes befor the driver was to get there and stated her husband did not leave for work and could we wait until he leave with in a few hours we told her yes and I had my driver standing by to pick up her car. I then recieved a call from her 2 hours latter canceling our service because her husband found out that she was leaving him and it became abusive. We informed her that we copuld not return her deposit, but out of a courtesy we would not charge her for the entire transport. WolfePack was in its wright to charge for the entire transport since we had a driver sitting around the corner waiting to get the car. A few days latter we recieved a call from her Husband demanding we give him back the deposit and if not he is going to come down a force us to give mhim the money. He also told us how since he is ion the military he is trained and has access to firearm we needed to watch ourself. We made a company decision to not be intimidated and stood fast and did not return the deposit. We did honor what we told Brednda and did not charge her for the entire transport. WolfePack Transport would like to wish Brenda the encouragement to get out of the situation she is in and that her husband can get some help. Thank you for understanding.
