The sales representative used our past merchant services provider to create a "glowing" report for us on how WorldPay could save us on average $300/month. Unfortunately that report didn't include a lot of the fees they charge and also the fact that WorldPay processes most cards in the most expensive per transaction tier even though the majority of our cards fell into the least expensive tier for over 10 years. I emailed our sales rep for 5 months about the dissatisfaction of our monthly charges and how it was costing us between $200-300 more per month than our previous provider.

I kept being told that management was looking into it. I would not hear back from her until I emailed asking the status. We got fed up with no response so starting looking into other providers. We switched providers and also opened a new checking account so WorldPay could not continue to take money from us. Well, they tried to take $7,947.22 out of our account for an early termination fee! Luckily they couldn't get it and we put a lock on all of our account so WorldPay cannot take anything.

At this point we would be happy to pay the $495 cancellation fee that most people have been talking about. This is a very deceptive company. If you currently use them make sure you check your statement every month. We had a $25 non compliance fee which we questioned. We were told we had to call them to veryify the process of how we accept the cards. If I would not have noticed this fee they would have continued to charge this. If I can keep anyone from using WorldPay from this review it will make me happy. I wish I had read the other reviews before signing up with them.
