I have had the exact same problem with xbox live. I tried it for a month. One month. They didn't bill me the next month because it was not to be automatic renewal. Here two months later, I have been billed. When I called customer service, I was told it was on automatice renewal. After speaking with the lady who clearly did not understand what I was saying, I asked to speak with her supervisor. She asked why I wanted to speak with her supervisor. So I explained that she was not answering my question about why over two months later, I was getting billed for xbox live? I signed up on the 29th of May, shouldn't I have been billed on the 29th of June if it was automatic? I got the runaround. It's not the money, it's the principal of the matter. How can they bill 2 months later if it truly is automatic renewal monthly? If anyone else has had similar problems, please post...They need to know the little man is tired of being abused because the big companies have gotten away with it for years...
