Zerorez DFW v. Used Car Salesman! Hard to tell the difference.
I had them come out to clean my carpets. I was qouted on the phone of $248 plus taxes. More than I usually pay, but I bought into their ads on the radio.
Once they arrived the tech didn't introduce himself he was more concerned on how payment was going to be made. After he came in and did his assessment the bill almost quadrupled in price to $760 plus taxes. I could replace half of my house with carpet for that amount.
Apparently they upcharge you on everything from special treatments per spot and per room, hallways are not included like most cleaning places. When I started saying no he just kept saying he is not responsible if the odor comes back and that I really need this product.
After about 15 minutes of this guy I had decided that he was more interested in upcharging me than he was cleaning my carpets so I just asked him to pack up and leave. I told him that this is not the way to do business and that the people doing the qoutes should be more informative and let people know what the charges were.
Noone told me that hallways were not included, that upcharges per room/per spot were $60-$75 each. I guess if they did noone would use them.
I have had better experience buying cars than dealing with Zerorez.
