Dean DeWulf Took Advantage of my Family
After living in our duplex for 2 years we decided to move on. Up until that point our landlord had dissapointed us a few times with delayed repairs. The real trouble began when we received part of our deposit back. He deducted $100 for a screen door that was broken upon move-in. After letting him know of his error, he rudely rebuffed us and brought up unrelated charges of dog feces in the back yard.
We had documentation that said the screen door was broken when we moved in, but he still did not refund our money. As people of meager means,$100 meant a lot to our finances. The blatant slap in the face from our former landlord really affected our beliefs about the kindness of society.
Anyone living in Austin, Texas should stay away from Dean DeWulf on 5009 Cana Cove.
