BEST BUY NOT THE BEST DEAL
I purchased a P.C. at Best Buy and the extended warranty. After a while the hard drive crashed. We called the 800 number to get it fixed.
When they found out we put in a card, they told us it voided the
warranty.

Poor Service
Circuit City offered me no help at all on a $2500 computer system when I needed help still UNDER WARRANTY. They talk big about good service but treat you bad when you need that service. Make your major electronics purchases someplace else.

NewCom, Inc. makes CD-ROM drives that are JUNK! now aka Aura Systems ..now in bankruptcy ....Staples stores continue to sell them!
NewCom, Inc. either makes CD-ROM drives that are JUNK! They were, within, the past year bought out by Aura Systems and then filed for bankruptcy.
A real chicken way out for a company that makes defective drives and does not stand behind warranties and also does not honor rebat...
