I started my membership in May of 2007. I paid a lot of money upfront because I was told that my annual membership dues after would be $29 plus tax. I made sure I kept my membership contract all these years and I have been paying $29 a year since 2007. I did not receive my bill this year by email or mail. but I decided to checking on the bill on my own. To my surprise my bill was $119 plus tax. I review my contract and no where does it state they can raise the bill. I keep calling their customer service number and it says they are not open. It is a Thursday and I have called every hour from 10am to 2 Pm. I found a back door number and that person said they don’t work directly with 24, and that I would need to go to the gym itself and talk with the manager. I did that and the manager said he can not do anything and to call the customer service number. I also sent in a email requesting explanation but have not had a response. I have been a great customer for 17 years. I feel this is a breach of contract. I would like my annual membership return to $29 a year or refund me the hundreds of dollars I spent for the contract.

24 Hour Fitness filed for bankruptcy in 2022, so that most likely voided their contractual obligation to you.
