I made a purchase totaling $113.72. I used two gift cards for $25 each ($50 total) and I put the remaining $63.72 on my debit card. During payment processing, their cash register shut down and restarted. They informed me that the purchase didn't go through and I would need to process my payment again. They rang up the items on a different cash register. But when I tried to use the gift cards, the system said the gift cards had already been used.
In addition, I checked my bank account and the $63.72 charge had already appeared on my banking transactions. However, they still refused to give me the items that I paid for. The next day I went to a different location, and they confirmed the gift cards still showed a zero balance. I then called the Bath & Body Works customer service line. The phone call lasted for over an hour and ended without a resolution.
