Daniel Enriquez Handyman Dan Home Repairs We hired Daniel Enriquez to install our flooring as he said that he knew how to do it. It turns out that he had lied as he mentioned it to me while almost half way done with the flooring. El Monte California
After he admitted it was his first time doing flooring on his own, I immediately felt an awful feeling. He had had asked for the money upfront which I unfortunately gave. I looked at YouTube videos and the work he was doing was not the same. He also took forever to install the baseboards he took out. The open baseboards also invited a mouse in our home. It was after that scenario that I finally decided to call him and tell him I didn’t appreciate him lying to us. He then sounded annoyed and said that he will give me our money back and to hire someone else to do it.
I had also given him a down payment of $145 to start my daughter’s ceiling for July 22. He never did it. And, he didn’t even complete the flooring and we have had professionals look and they all say our flooring needs to be redone. My father, whom is a senior citizen, also paid him a total of $90, to have his toilet installed. That hasn’t been done. He practically stole our money and hasn’t done the work. Daniel is currently ignoring all of us and he hasn’t even paid anything back. He’s been giving me the run around since the end of July. He keeps saying that he will pay me back and that’s a lie. I don’t want him doing this to anyone else.
He’s unlicensed and I can’t imagine him doing this to other innocent people. Lastly, I want to mention that I sent him $85 for baseboards and they did not cost that much when I went to look at Home Depot. I asked him for a Receipt and he said he lost it. I really hope all of his victims come forward. I have already spoken to another person he has done this to. I asked for them to report him as well.

Daniel gave my father one last final excuse. He never showed up on Friday October 2,2020 like he said he would. Again, he gave another excuse and said he would come Sunday or Monday. Which he did not. My father called him and no answer. My father finally got fed up and told Daniel that he doesn’t believe him. So, that’s the end of the run a round. Do not trust Daniel Enriquez. He will take your money and will not do the job.
He will ask for a down payment/deposit then run off with your money and you will never see him again. He will say he knows how to do a job when he doesn’t. He will run off with your money and won’t hear from him again. At first, he will make promises and tons of excuses. The excuses are endless. Please save yourself the trouble and don’t hire this guy. He took money from a senior citizen, my father. He does not have a conscience.

Daniel is still giving us a bunch of excuses. He keeps telling me that he will send me money and that never happens. He also keeps not showing on the days he says he is and gives my dad excuses. There’s always an excuse and his car is the biggest one.
His last text to my father this past Friday, October 2, 2020, says that he’s sorry he couldn’t show up. But, that he will be here either Sunday Oct. 4th or Monday Oct 5th. Let’s see if he finally doesn’t give my dad an excuse. I will keep you all updated. I for once know, that he has no intentions of paying us back or coming to install my dads toilet.
