Moving Labor Now John Verly Verly's Pro Moving Labor Beware of this company!! Please do your research!! I wish I did. Ottawa IL
I made the mistake of hiring this company to move my elderly mother out of her house and into a condo. The guys who showed up were either very tired or high, maybe even intoxicated. They looked like a few local kids the owner just found the day before and hired them. Id say thay were in their late teens or earley 20's. They weren't muscular at all.
First of all they damaged a glass curio cabinet when they banged it into a wall moving it. They didn't properly wrap the furniture some of which was damaged (the owber laughed and said "you should have bought the insurance). Very unprofessional owner and inexperienced crew. We were also overcharged by several hundred dollars!!
I did some research after this nightmare and learned that the owner, John Verly, is a bad apple. He has quite an interesting and an extensive history, has changed the name of his "company" a few times ( I can understand why!). I found a website that has nothing but good reviews but my guess is they are fake, maybe paid for (anything can be purchased these days).
HUGE RED FLAG is the reviews are turned off on his facebook page! This is not a good sign. I also stumbled across a few facebook pages about him and his company. Movng Labor Now Beware, Moving Labor Now Sucks, Verlys Pro Moving Labor Sucks and more. Just search his name! BEWARE!!!
