I had an extremely troubling experience with Prestige Auto Sales regarding a 2015 Ford Transit Connect XL. The vehicle was advertised with a mileage of under 100,000 miles, but the AutoCheck report revealed the actual mileage to be 112,377 miles. When I brought this significant discrepancy to their attention, the sales representative, Mohammed, initially blamed his employees for the error and became increasingly hostile and aggressive during our conversation. He resorted to yelling and later sent me threatening text messages, including personal insults and threats to harm my business reputation.

In an attempt to resolve the situation, the owner of Prestige Auto Sales called me. He apologized for Mohammed’s behavior, stating that Mohammed had been reprimanded but not fired. The owner expressed a willingness to work with me and initially offered a discount on an optional warranty, which I found irrelevant and unhelpful. When I declined the warranty, the owner offered a mere $100 discount on the vehicle, which I found laughable given the severity of the mileage discrepancy and the violent behavior of his employee.

During our conversation, the owner emphasized that he was not willing to lose money on the vehicle, stating that he is not in the business of losing money. I explained to him that, as a business owner myself, if one of my photographers behaved violently or harassed a client, I would take full responsibility. This might mean incurring a loss to rectify the situation, even if it meant a $4000 loss on a photography shoot. I emphasized that maintaining a positive reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction is paramount.

The owner seemed to struggle with this perspective, questioning why his business should be punished for the actions of his employee. I explained that the people we hire represent us and our business. Their actions reflect directly on the business’s reputation. This principle is fundamental to maintaining trust and integrity in any business.

Despite this discussion, the best offer the owner could provide was a $100 discount on the vehicle. This offer did not reflect a genuine attempt to rectify the situation, given the misleading advertisement and hostile treatment I received. The dealership’s approach to resolving the issue did not demonstrate a commitment to customer service or ethical business practices.

tressing experience, Mohammed has since spammed my photography business's Google profile with Adding to the dismultiple fake negative reviews in an attempt to further damage my reputation. This vindictive behavior underscores the unprofessional and unethical nature of Prestige Auto Sales.

Given the already bad reputation and numerous negative reviews this dealership has received, I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious. The interaction has made it clear that Prestige Auto Sales prioritizes short-term gains over long-term customer relationships and satisfaction. The dealership’s handling of this situation has been profoundly disappointing and unacceptable.

Your complaint makes no sense whatsoever. You are upset because an online listing had the wrong mileage for a vehicle you thought about buying? What was the actual mileage on the odometer? Why would they owe you money? Because some employee got tired of your whining and told you off? How do you know the reviews are from them and not from, say, a competitor?
