Staged Detroit Kristin calvert We paid $5,000 for them to stage our home with quality furniture. They installed 30% of junk furniture nothing like what was represented. We asked them to immediately removed the furniture and asked for a portion of our money back. They are claiming they incurred $4,000 for furnishing 30% garage sale furniture for 24 hours. We have pictures of the junk furniture they installed. Lake Orion Michigan
Homeowners Beware:
We engaged Stage Detroit to furnish a home we listed for sale. The Staged Detroit owner reassured us that the quality of the furniture would be consistent with the furniture consistent with the quality of the home. We thought we had a clear understanding about what we had contracted for, but to our dismay, the furniture put on display was garage sale quality at best. We immediately notified the proprietor and took pictures of the furniture. We are extremely upset, have sent numerous correspondence in hopes of an amicable settlement. This occurred over 6 weeks ago and the proprietor continues to be nonresponsive, claiming they incurred $4,000 in costs of the $5,000 for installing 30% of the furniture for less than 24 hours of the three months original term. I hope that anyone who deals with these folks requires them to install the furniture and view what is being installed before paying them.
