1st American Leasing Kevin Harvey with Rhino Systems, Sunshine ATM Processing Kevin 'stole' the ATM and 1st American Leasing is suing me. Internet
Kevin Harvey represented himself with Rhino Systems (an Sunshine ATM Processing) with an office suite in McMurray, PA. Turned out to be a post office box at the UPS Store. He said that he deals with ATMs and since we were just opening our laundromat, we were thinking of installing an ATM. So just like all the rest of the ripoff reports on this site, our story is the same. Kevin told us if the machine didn't make the money,he wouldn't either and he would then transfer it to another company and we would be out of the lease.
1st American's debit from our account was more than the lease amount we signed. Kevin kept telling us to wait and see if the ATM did well and when the use didn't increase enough to pay for the monthly lease and Kevin didn't come and transfer the machine as promised, we closed the bank account and put the machine in the back of the store, disconnecting it, which should have set off the alarms and GPS that we were told was installed in the ATM.
Kevin finally came and took the machine in June in front of witnesses, never transferred it, and 1st American Leasing has sent a collection agency to me to collect over $15,000 for the machine and the monthly leases. Since Kevin Harvey and Rhino Systems and Sunshine ATM Processing are vendors with 1st American Leasing, they have all the information to contact them, and they will not. Instead, they have started collection proceedings against me. I filed a police report to recover the atm machine but Mr. Harvey cannot be found. And 1st American is not trying to find him or their machine for which they are charging me even though according to the letter from 1st American Leasing, he was not authorized to take the ATM machine. Sunshine ATM Processing in Florida did not accept the mail from the local magistrate so they cannot be served papers, as I am in Pennsylvania.
1st American Leasing has put the amount of $15,818.+ on my personal credit and again, are proceeding to ruin my credit. I agree that this is a scam and 1st American Leasing must be keeping the collection agencies in business as this is certainly a regular occurrence. Seems to me their vendors set them up, then disappear, and us honest business owners are left to pay for services that were not represented to us and would not have been agreed upon if we really were told what was going on. It's a mess I don't want, my credit is impeccable, and as far as I am concerned, these people are criminals and should not be allowed to continue doing business at all.

I closed the bank account that was being automatically debited so they couldn't get their money. The sent me a few legal letters and that has been it. I didn't reply. I check my credit scores and now cannot find the amount on my credit anymore.
The police told me not to pay them anything and that is why I closed the account. The Harveys are nowhere to be found and rent the house they claim as their address, so they covered themselves in fijling a mechanic's lien.

Guys:
Same story here. Our business got nailed by these two scum bags in November of 2010. Today I filed complaints with the attorney general in PA and MI hoping something will get done. I contacted the local media at KDKA to try to run a story. We are on the same end with an attorney now threatening to sue us and take us to court.
Let me know if anything else happened with either of you guys and what area you were in. Our local police department didn't issue a warrant for either one of these guys after they walked into the business and stole the ATM machine to never be heard of again.
Sadly, the business account wasn't closed out until recently so we got screwed for 20+ months of the monthly fee being withdrawn when there was NO ATM machine on the property.
Any help would be appreciated.

1st American Leasing should not have accepted the lease for you from Mr. Harvey based on what they told me. They explained that they now do a background check on their vendors and are more careful in selecting vendors. So if your lease was after January 2011, they knew about Mr. Harvey because of me and knew his background. As for me, they just put it on my credit, i will work around that, and never got a lawyer after me although they did send me a few letters saying they would. I closed the bank account from which the lease money was being debited, thus the mark against my credit. But I don't care. I had the Michigan Attorney's General Office look into it but they did nothing,although I do think you should file a complaint. Maybe another one will show them a pattern. Good luck. I also filed a police report against Mr. Harvey for theft of the ATM, because basically that is what it was. Again, good luck and don't let them bother you.

I too have been scamed by these people. Although, the brother, Gary Harvey got me. Same story same lines. The only thing I did was I kept the atm. They tried to come and take it but they never had taken me off the lease. I've had the machine since Oct. 2010. 1st american leasing will do nothing to help. they pretty much told me anyone can sell their leases. And its not their problem. They will not call these people(rhino systems, Kevin and Gary Harvey) and if you stop paying them they instantly report you to creditors.
So if you find anything out please let me know. I quit trying after a year of nothing. The news was going to do a story about it but I guess not enough interest.
I agree with you these people are criminals and so is 1st american leasing. Someone needs to put these people away.
