1st American Leasing supports a credit card scam where they enter get customers to sign off on a $400 monthly lease for a credit card machine for 48 months for a machine that costs $189 to purchase outright. That comes to $16,000 lease over the term for a product that costs $189 to purchase new. They offered to buy out the remaining term of the contract for $12,000.
