The only way I do work for them and other companies like them is by accepting payment by credit card over the phone once the work is completed. They are hesitant to do pay by credit card, but if you stand your ground by letting them know you are not a bank and that is why you accept credit cards they will pay over the phone.

I agree with the top, as an ex-employee as well. However, good luck. I do not see how these people stay in business. And they companies they work for (Starbucks, Home Depot, Ace Cash, etc) do pay in a timely fashion. I have personally seen all sides of this company. It all sums up to: DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!! AS A SUB OR EMPLOYEE!!!!

Your best bet is to go to the store where you performed the work and ask to speak their Store Manager, explain the situation and then ask to speak to their Regional or District Manager in regards to payment. Some of the clients do delay payment to 1st Choice, but still not an excuse for the amount of time you have been waiting. Generally, when a tech approaches the store, the invoice will get paid.
