Hired for supervisior position at a reduced rate of $20.00 per hour due to the economy. 35 years experience and had made double that in the past. Past is the past, so accepted the job.
Reside in Florida, job sent me to Ohio and Pennsyvania in the winter months, working mostly at night remodeling Starbuck locations. Worked over 100 hours in a 7 day period and company paid me the base rate of $800.00 ---but my overtime was paid at approx. $5.25 an hour TOTAL.
Good scam, as they referred to an obscure job classification to screw me out of the money. Also stated that we would work less than 40 hrs. and still my "salary" that would make up for the screw job. Never happened, as they let me go after I did over a month's worth of work for them stating things weren't working out. Could live with being let go , but this was all contrived from the start.
They got me for over $3000.00 in ot. Who would travel to a cold climate, work nights, and all for $5.25 an hour. Watch these people as they are slick and still out there!
