Sent all information in for a Samsung 250GB SSD 40$ rebate.  Followed all the directions PRECISELY, as I am aware that a rebate clearing house will find ANY reason to deny a rebate.  I had suspicions that this was going to be a 'ripoff' even before mailing the paperwork - and of course it was.  After registering on their site to start the rebate process, a record was created to 'track' the progress of the rebate, with instructions given to mail all documentation.  Followed the directions, dropped it in the mail.  Monitored each day, via the site, for progress.  Five days after mailing in the rebate, the ability to 'track' it online no longer functioned (RED FLAG).  Email 4myrebate regarding this, and get a generic email back.  Another 2 weeks go by, and receive an email saying the UPC code was not included in the documentation.  Oddly enough, the VERY place it was attached to documentation is blacked out in their records - they have kindly allowed me to 'track' again so I can see they are ripping me off.  The very spot on the page the UPC was attached has been blacked out with something like Photoshop.  So now they say they want the UPC off the box, which they got, but have conveniently wiped out.

I buy a LOT of electronics, and this was the second purchase from TigerDirect (trying them out).  Was going to move purchasing over to Tiger because the prices are pretty good.   Tiger has lost all future biz from me, and since I am the go to guy for nearly everyone I know in regards to electronics, Tiger has lost probably over 30k of biz a year by aligning their company with 4myrebate.  Hope it was worth it!!!
