90 Ten - Madison Marketing Management - Madison Marketing Concepts - Madison Management READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO TO THAT INTERVIEW---SCAM! Queens New York
It was weird that they called me. I dont remember applying for anything "Entry Level", being as though I have a good 5 yrs experience in the industry. But I said hey, they know my salary requirements, so let me check it out. I travelled 1 1/2 hrs from Brooklyn to the middle of no where Queens for a 1/2 hr pointless interview. The office was tiny, with a 90ten sign out front so I was a little confused. There was only one person working there at the time which also threw me off. There were also about 3 calls regarding jobs, and no one was turned down for a interview, also and young man walked in after me for a interview. This was very fishy! Also the application asked for a SS Number. I left that blank. Whats the point if you don't get the job?
During the interview, I asked questions about the job responsibilities, and was told "oh not now, if we call you in for a second interview you can go out with reps and see what a day in the life is like". When I left, I knew I had to go home and do some hard research, especially if they invited me back. And sure enought, with a little digging, I found all the AKA names, and many complaints. I wasted about 3 hrs travelling to day, but I refuse to report in tomorrow and waste 8 more hours with out pay!!
Save yourself some time people, and avoid any companies that over promote and recruit on job sites. Also complain to the job sites. If we dont use them, they lose money, and if they continue to have companies like this listed, how can they be trusted!
Lord Knows who hotjobs, careerbuilder, etc. are allowing to view our profiles. They give accounts to any one now a days!
