This company was called to our home 3 weeks ago. Our refrigerator had a problem where the tube that flows water to the filter (so we can get water and ice from the front door of the freezer) sprung a leek. The tech who came to our home was Carlos. He said that our tube had a hole in it and he went and got another piece of tube from his truck and replaced the tube we had. He told us not to drink the water right away because the dirt within the tube had to be flushed out first.
Three weeks later (last night) we have more water coming from our refrigerator. We called this company. That is when the problem started:
1) The person who answers their phone at 407-422-8300 was incessantly rude. He simply said someone would come in the morning and hung up the phone. I called back to ask what time the person would come and he said, "keep calling and we wont send anyone!!" then hung up again.
3) I called from a different line and he finally said (rudely) someone would come between 9 and 12 the next morning. At 10 am, I get a call from Carlos telling me they will charge another $110 to come to our home. On our receipt they have "90 day guarantee on labor". Why are they charging to come back to our home??
4) They tried to tell me that he cut our line before where the hole was and reattached it, and the malfunction cannot possibly be their fault. The truth is, he went and got a piece of tube from his truck and replaced our hose with it. Either way, this company is not even standing by their guarantee for the labor because they are charging us more money for labor that was obviously poorly done in the beginning.
5) They refuse to honor the terms of the receipt we have in our possession.
6) They are a rip off!! They told us a water line kit costs about $25. They are charging us another $85 to come back to our home. Yet, to replace the hose with a new kit costs $295?????!!!!. Then he tried to fool me into thinking he was doing me a favor by crediting me for the $185 that we paid for the service they did before so we would only owe another $110. The bottom line is, in less than 90 days (3 weeks to be exact) his so-called labor disappointed us, and they are not even professional and courteous enough to send their tech guy back to figure out what he did that went wrong so they can honor their 90 labor guarantee. They seem to be only interested in ripping people off by charging lots of money for poor, discourteous service. What did we pay him $185 for before???? Absolutely nothing. We will sue them for a refund of our service fee. We paid for a service and he did a horrible job. Now they want more money. They are rude, unprofessional, do not honor their own paperwork and they are a downright scam. Do Not Use This Service!!!
