Kudos to the AAMCO Transmissions Service (Mr. Jose Berenguel) and his team at the AAMCO shop in Austin, TX (8417 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX). It is now February 2009 and it has been 3 weeks now since my vehicle's transmission was finally repaired and it appears to be working properly. The AAMCO shop in Austin, TX was finally able to repair my vehicle after their workload was lighten-up and they were real professionals about it, unlike the AAMCO repair shop in Round Rock, TX (1902 Kenny Fort Trail, Round Rock, TX) that only repaired a couple speed sensors needed by my transmission and charged me an additional $187 for these speed sensors. My bad experience was mainly with Mr. Alan at the orignal AAMCO shop in Houston, TX. And although Mr. Daymon Gregg at the AAMCO shop in Round Rock, TX was also very professional, he and his team did NOT fix the problem with my transmission that was originally ill-repaired by the AAMCO shop in Houston, TX (7900 S. Hwy 6, Houston, TX). Thanks Mr. Jose Berenguel and Austin AAMCO team for doing a great job at correcting the original repair by the AAMCO shop in Houston and finally fixing the problem with my vehicle's transmission. Thanks Mr. Daymon Gregg for attempting, but you and your team did NOT fix my transmission. You only "fixed" my speed senors and charged me an additional $187. Mr. Alan at the AAMCO Transmission in Houston, TX - You and your AAMCO repair shop should NOT be in business and should be prosecuted for causing the original Ripp-Off of $2954 for NOT fixing my vehicle's transmission, being rude to me on the phone, and causing all my time lost from work.

Kudos to the AAMCO Service Manager (Mr. Jose Berenguel) and his team at the Austin, TX AAMCO shop. It had been 3 weeks now since my vehicle's transmission was finally fixed by them and seems to be working OK now. The AAMCO repair shop in Round Rock, TX (Mr. Daymon Gregg) attempted to fixed the original problem by the original transmission repair by Mr. Alan's AAMCO shop in Houston. However, they were not able to repair it and only replace my supposedly faulty speed sensors that were also needed for the Transmission to work correctly. Mr. Daymon Gregg charged me Invoice price for the speed sensors but was not able to get my vehicle's transmission working correctly. It was only fixed after I took it to the AAMCO Service Manager (Mr. Jose Berenguel) after waiting a couple weeks for his workload to slow down.

This is an update that the transmission on my vehicle was finally repaired correctly by another AAMCO Transmissions shop in Austin, TX. I want to give credit where credit is due...and that's to the AAMCO Service Manager (Mr. Jose Berenguel) and the Technicians at the AAMCO Transmissions shop in Austin, TX. It has been 3 weeks since my transmission was finally repaired by the AAMCO Transmission shop in Austin, TX and it appears that the transmission is now working normally. Kudos to the AAMCO Service Manager (Mr. Jose Berenguel) and the Technicians at the AAMCO Transmissions shop in Austin, TX at 8417 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX. These guys were real professional, they understood my problems with all the previous AAMCO Transmissions shops, they were honest and up-front, and they even followed-up with me to make sure the transmission is working properly. If you live in Texas and have problems with your transmission, I would advise you to take your vehicle to these guys...even if it means you might have to tow it from Houston or Dallas to their shop...which is exactly what I should have done in the first place rather than letting the amatuers at the AAMCO shop in Houston even touch my vehicle. BTW, AAMCO does offer free towing, but probably within a reasonable distance.
